Eden, Utah

Eden, UT is located along the west, northeast and north shores of Pineview Reservoir, and occupies the center of the Ogden Valley, at an elevation of 4941 feet. Eden derives it’s name from Washington Jenkins, a government surveyor hired by the first 15 families to settle in the current Eden area, in 1859. Jenkins, taken by the scenery, suggested the name "Eden". 

Powder Mountain Resort, Wolf Creek Resort, and Nordic Valley Resort are located in Eden. The towns of Eden and Liberty both share the zip code of 84310. The line between the two towns is irregular and oftentimes confusing. A number of residents are unsure if they live in one town or the other!

A large percentage of development and density for the Ogden Valley is and will continue to be in Eden, UT. Many of the Valley’s services and commercial centers are located in Eden. Subdivisions include Radford Hills, Crimson Ridge, Staples Subdivision, Silver Bell Eden Acres, Robin’s Roost, Patio Springs, Fairway Oaks, The Village, Minnie Creek, Eagle Ridge, The Fairways, Powder Ridge Subdivision, The Cascades, Trapper’s Ridge,The Highlands, and Elkhorn Subdivision. Sheep Creek (formerly also known as The Preserve) and Rivers Edge are in Liberty, but often are referred to as Eden. 

The new and “coming soon” developments at Wolf Creek are: The Ridge, The Bridges at Wolf Creek, The Cottages, and The Retreat. Condominiums include: Wolf Star, Wolf Lodge, Powder Ridge Village (Timeshares at Powder Mountain), Columbine Inn (Powder Mountain), WorldMark Wolf Creek (Wyndham Vacation Ownership) and Moose Hollow. 

The popular Ogden Valley Balloon & Artist festival will be held in Eden, August 19-21, 2016.
